Shauna E. Bowman, P.E., President and Founder
Shauna E. Bowman, president and founder of Toro Bravo Construction LLC, and Bowman Engineering & Consulting, is an experienced transportation engineer and project manager with extensive highway and transit experience. A licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Shauna has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. A former design engineer skilled in the preparation of final plans, specifications and cost estimates, her breadth of consulting and construction management experience as a Project Principal includes numerous high-profile projects such as:
- Denton County Transportation Authority A-Train
- Trinity Metro’s TEX Rail Commuter Line from Downtown Ft. Worth to DFW Airport.
Felipe Facundo, Vice President of Operations
With more than 35 years experience installing reinforcing steel for a range of projects from highways to footings and piers, to bridges and box culverts, Felipe Facundo serves as Vice President of Operations for Toro Bravo Construction. Joining Bowman Engineering & Consulting in 2015 as Operations Manager, Mr. Facundo brings to Toro Brovo an extensive background that includes serving as a superintendent/foreman supervising more than 120 employees on numerous projects installing reinforcing steel. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of Toro Bravo, Mr. Facundo’s responsibilities including scheduling a crew of more than 100 employees on more than 70 active contracts, as well as organizing ordering and delivery of rebar for the company’s multiple contracts. Prior to joining Bowman Engineering & Consulting, Mr. Facundo was a superintendent for JL Steel Reinforcing in Roanoke, Texas for 25 years, and a foreman for Omega Rebar in Everman, Texas. His signature projects include the Huey Long Bridge over the Mississippi River in New Orleans, and the Belle Chasse Pump Station for the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway. He is First Aid and CPR-certified and holds an OSHA 10-hour certificate in occupational safety and health. Married and the father of four children, Mr. Facundo has called Texas home for more than 40 years.
Josh Moyes, Senior Estimator/Safety Manager
As Senior Estimator and Safety Manager for Toro Bravo Construction, Josh Moyes is an experienced cost estimator. Mr. Moyes joined Bowman Engineering & Consulting in 2017 as Senior Reinforcing Steel Estimator, a position he holds along with his duties at Toro Bravo. Prior to joining Bowman Engineering & Consulting, Mr. Moyes was Lead Reinforcing Steel Estimator for JL Steel Reinforcing where he served in a liaison capacity facilitating communication between JL Steel Reinforcing and Kiewit Construction during a long-term construction project in New Orleans. Before that, Mr. Moyes was an apprentice and journeyman millwright specializing in assembly and installation of industrial machinery. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Communications, Mr. Moyes also holds an OSHA 10-Hour occupational safety and health certificate.
